Samantha Ruth Prabhu will leave audiences in tears in Raju Gari Gadhi 2

She’s considered one of the leading actors of southern filmdom. Despite working with all the major stars, Samantha hasn’t been able to win over critics because she has never had the opportunity to prove her mettle. All that’s going to change with her next Telugu outing, a sequel to Raju Gari Gadhi, which also stars her future father-in-law Nagarjuna in a pivotal role. Tipped to be a horror-thriller, the film also stars Seerat Kapoor along with a battalion of comedians.

According to a source from the film’s unit, her role will be much talked about because it will move audiences to tears. Clarifying that she doesn’t play the ghost in the film, the source said that her character has a very strong emotional arc and that will instantly click big time with audiences. Being directed by Ohmkar, Samantha has also already commenced shooting and she will wrap up her portion in the next couple of weeks.

Currently, she’s also shooting for Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s anthology film Aneethi Kathaigal, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil.
