Finally the day has come after long years of trials when Sanjay Dutt has no way left but to get ready to serve his remaining jail term of three and half years. He prepared for the day with proper morning prayers and a havan at his Bandra residence.

There were several celebrities inside his home and his huge fan-following did wait outside when a havan was conducted by a priest with his family members. According to sources, the 53-year-old convicted actor has been busy since last night taking calls and visits from friends, colleagues and other well wishers. Actors like Salman Khan and Fardeen Khan and director David Dhawan who used to share special friendly relations with the star visited his residence.

After the Supreme Court directed that no further extension will be granted on his surrender date, Sanjay accepted his destiny and announced yesterday that he will surrender before a TADA court today, without creating further arguments. Though the actual plans of his surrender are not yet disclosed by Mumbai police, it is believed that after lunchtime, he will appear before a special TADA Court amid tight security. After completing the formalities for his surrender, he will be taken away to the high-security Arthur Road Central Jail. Police officials have maintained secrecy on the final destination of Sanjay, whether it will be a regular jail in Pune, Nashik or Nagpur.
