    Saqib Saleem Is Happy For Being A Part Of Short Film ‘Aamad’

    Actor Saqib Saleem, who made his acting debut with 2011 romantic comedy ‘Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge’, was recently seen in a short film ‘Aamad’. When asked from the actor what made him take up the project, he said that he chose to act in the movie because of its simple plot. The flick which is directed by Neeraj Udhwani released on Monday on one of the channels of YouTube, Terribly Tiny Talkies.

    The story of ‘Aamad’ revolves around strained relationship between father and a son, where the son is looked down upon by his father for being a Kathak dancer "It's a story that when I read it I knew I wanted to do. It was only later I realised Kathak wouldn't be easy but we put in a week to try and do it to the best of our abilities. The simplicity of the story is what made me take on this short film", said Saleem in a statement. Apart from Saqib, the movie also starred Arif Zakaria, Charu Rohatgi and Abeer Pandit.

     Saqib was last seen in ‘Dobaara: See Your Evil’ which hit the theatres on June 2. The film directed by Prawaal Raman is an official adaptation of the 2013 American horror film ‘Oculus’. ‘Dobaara: See Your Evil’ was Saqib’s first movie with his sister and actress Huma Qureshi.
