Sequel Of ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!’ Happening, Confirms Sushant Singh Rajput

Recently, actor Sushant Singh Rajput took to Twitter to treat his fans with a question and answer session. One of the fans asked the ‘PK’ star whether he would be doing a sequel to his 2015 Indian action mystery thriller, ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!’, in near future. To this, the actor replied, 'Yes’.

Helmed by filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee, who also jointly produced the flick with Aditya Chopra, the movie garnered positive reviews from critics. Based on a fictional detective Byomkesh Bakshi, the story was written by a Bengali writer, Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. Along with Sushant, the movie stars Anand Tiwari and Swastika Mukherjee in the lead roles.

Sushant will next be seen in Neeraj Pandey's ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’. During the interactive session on the microblogging site, the actor also revealed that his favourite cricketer is Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Based on the life of the cricket icon, the flick is slated to be released on September 30 this year.
