Shah Rukh Khan To Reprise Dev Anand’s Role From ‘Guide’ In Imtiaz Ali’s Next?

Shah Rukh Khan’s collaboration with Imtiaz Ali is already creating a lot of buzz amongst the movie buffs. Now, rumour mills are churning out stories that the film will be a modern version of Dev Anand starrer classic hit ‘Guide’. Consequently, King Khan will be seen reprising Dev Anand’s iconic role of a tourist guide from the movie, which was the cinematic adaptation of R.K. Narayan’s novel ‘The Guide’.  

A source has informed DNA, “Shah Rukh plays a tourist guide. Like Devsaab in Vijay Anand’s film, there are many twists and turns in the Shah Rukh’s character graph. He has a moral epiphany that changes his life and that of others he encounters”.

Further, speculations are rife that Anushka Sharma is being considered to play the female lead role in the flick. However, nothing can be said to be confirmed unless an official announcement is made. Meanwhile the audiences are eagerly waiting to see the ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ duo recreate the magic of their chemistry on the big screen but this time as Dev Anand and Waheeda Rehman from the box office hit of 1965.
