SRK's Ted Talks To Clash With Salman's Bigg Boss

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are not just the biggest stars on Bollywood’s firmament, they are also the best of friends. After a long drawn out cold war, the two shook hands a few years back and have remained buddies ever since. So, when Shah Rukh Khan’s much-feted show TED Talks: Nayi Soch clashes with Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss, we are guessing it will be all a friendly competition.

Shah Rukh, who is busy promoting his upcoming film Jab Harry Met Sejal, will soon start shooting for the show. According to reports, the Star Plus show will have 14 episodes and will feature speakers from different parts of the world. The show is said to be telecast in September.

SRK’s shoot for the show begins mid-August and will be telecast in October, say reports. AR Rahman will be among those featured on the show. Salman, meanwhile, is said to be shooting the promo for Bigg Boss 11. India’s most controversial show will start in September this year and will go on till January 2018. Salman appears on Bigg Boss on weekends and SRK’s show will also be slotted for weekends.

SRK had said about the show earlier in a statement, “People will share stories about changes in society, in life — whether it’s about the climate, dangerous diseases or to help empower women — and all of this will be integrated. There are some beautiful stories — both Indian and international — which the team is planning to get on one platform and do a nice mix of Hindi and English speakers. I feel it will be a niche show.”

TED Talks - Nayi Soch will follow the signature TED format of prominent speakers voicing their opinions in an 18-minute or less monologue in front of a live audience.
