Shivaay Shooting Starting November 7

Ajay Devgn’s second directorial project Shivaay will be going on floors on November 7. Ajay’s directorial skills were first seen in U, Me Aur Hum which had the Singham star alongside wife Kajol. The shooting for Shivaay will commence in Mussoorie.

A small cantonment town in Mussoorie named Landour will host the shooting for the film. The movie will also bring forth Sayesha Saigal for the first time. Sayesha is Dilip Kumar’s grand-niece. The shooting will now commence after almost a year of planning and will take place in Hyderabad and Bulgaria as well.

The screenplay for the film will be written by Sandeep Srivastava with cinematography handled by Aseem Bajaj. The movie will tell the story of Lord Shiva and his imperfections. Shivaay’s cast will include Ali Kazmi, Erika Kaar, Jabbz Farooqi and Aakash Dabhade. The movie is planned for a release on October 28, clashing with Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
