Sivakarthikeyan gets nostalgic at Maragadha Naanayam audio launch

After the success of Remo, Sivakarthikeyan has been hardly attending film-related events. He is currently busy shooting round the clock for director Mohan Raja’s Velaikkaran, where he shares screen space with Nayanthara and Fahadh Faasil. However, he made it a point to attend the audio launch of Maragadha Naanayam, due to his long-standing friendship with some of its team members whom Siva had known since his college.

“Actually, this stage is very special to me and very close to my heart. The hero of today’s event, music composer Dhibu Ninan Thomas, Arunraja Kamaraj and I were classmates in college. Santhosh Narayanan and lyricst Muthamizh were my seniors in college. After our college days, this stage of Maragadha Naanayam has united all five of us and I thank producer Dillibabu sir for giving this wonderful opportunity. I am quite sure Dhibu will scale more heights in the music industry,” said a nostalgic Sivakarthikeyan.

Sivakarthikeyan, Vishnu Vishal and Santhosh Narayanan honoured the promising debutant directors of 2016 including Vijay Kumar of Uriyadi fame, Nelson of Oru Naal Koothu fame, Karthick Naren of Dhuruvangal 16 fame, Bakkiyaraj Kannan of Remo fame and Pradeep Krishnamoorthi of Saithan fame.

Directed by ARK Saravan, Maragadha Naanayam features Aadhi and Nikki Galrani as leads. Anandaraj, Munish Kanth, Arunraja Kamaraj, Daniel, MS Baskar, Mime Gopi, Murganandham form the supporting cast.
