Smita Wants Balasaheb Life Story To Be Shared To The World

Filmmaker Smita Thackeray is delighted that a biopic on her late father-in-law, Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray, is in progress. She wants that the life story of Balasaheb needs to be told to the whole world. The upcoming biopic will be directed by her son Rahul.

Smita said, “Balasaheb has always been an enigma and a legend for both his followers and his family. It is always an honour to be a part of his journey”. She added, “I believe his life’s story needs to be shared and I am glad that my son, Rahul, has taken up the challenge on making this biopic on his grandfather and my father-in-law Saheb”.

The film will depict the life of Balasaheb from the vision of his grandson Rahul. The flick is to be produced by Smita, Rashid Saeed, Omung Kumar and Sandeep Singh. The cast of the movie is yet to be finalized.
