Take A Look At Rajinikanth's First Selfie Video

Trust superstar Rajinikanth to add his inimitable style to even mundane things. A selfie video by the Tamil superstar going on a drive in the US is raging on social media since Thursday. The under 35-second video shows him asking the driver if he should press the “red button”, all the while smiling and waving to the camera. He says: “I have to press the red button, right? The video is rolling.”

While it is not surprising that the video has gone viral, what is more interesting is that it is his way of assuring his fans that his health is fine. The 67-year-old megastar is in the US for a regular check-up.

Rajinikanth along with his daughter Aishwarya left for the US in June for a regular medical check-up. He is expected to return home in a couple of weeks.

On the career front, he has completed the first schedule shooting of his upcoming Tamil film Kaala. The actor will return to the sets of Kaala, in which he plays a slum-lord-turned-gangster, later in July.

Kaala reunites Rajinikanth and Kabali director Pa Ranjith.

The film, which also stars Nana Patekar, Huma Qureshi, Anjali Patil, Pankaj Tripathi, Samuthirakani and Sakshi Aggarwal, is being bankrolled by actor-producer Dhanush.
