Former Bigg Boss contestant Sofia Hayat is a married woman now. She tied the knot with Romanian interior designer Vlad Stanescu in London on Monday in a grand ceremony involving Egyptian symbolism, carriage rides and people dressed as royals.

Sofia arrived to her wedding in a chariot pulled by four white horses that were made to wear unicorn horns.

The model-actor-turned-nun wore a golden dress with an intricate golden crown on her head, golden earrings and a necklace.

Vlad wore a cream-coloured sherwani with a crown of his own that matched his bride’s.

A few days ago, Sofia had revealed that her wedding will be an Egyptian ceremony. “The theme of my wedding is God’s Goddesses Fairies and angels..got the tiaras and wings in!! We are having a wonderful crowning ceremony to honour the divinity in us and our guests!!! Can’t wait!!! 3 more days for the sacred Egyptian ceremony then our third wedding will have a different theme in my Temple of Awakening,” she had written on her Instagram page.

Last year in June, Sofia had announced that she had turned nun and said in an interview to TOI, “I will never have sex, get married nor have children. Since I am the holy mother, everyone’s my children. I have to look after everyone and make sure they know there is no hell. It is heaven that they are living in.”
