SRK-Alia Bhatt Starrer Gauri Shinde’s Next To Go On Floors in January

Karan Johar’s upcoming co-production, which will star Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt opposite each other, has created quite a buzz for its unconventional pairing. The movie buffs are all excited to see the unique pair in this romantic drama. Meanwhile, co-producer Karan Johar has revealed that the film will go on floors in January next year.

“@gauris film with @iamsrk and @aliaa08 commences principal photography middle of January! Pre production is on full steam now! Exciting”, Karan revealed on Twitter. Alia Bhatt, later re-tweeted the filmmaker’s tweet. 

Shah Rukh and Alia will be seen romancing each other in the flick, which is to be helmed by Gauri Shinde. R. Balki’s wife, Gauri rose to fame after her directorial debut English Vinglish. She has previously stated that it won’t be a “typical romance” between the two.  The film will be a production by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Hope Productions.
