SRK, Hrithik Enthrall Audiences At 8th Mirchi Music Awards

As the 8^th Mirchi Music Awards took place at Yash Raj Film Studio in Mumbai, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan delighted audiences with their moves and melody. The award is organized every year to commemorate the best music for previous year with one especial award in which fans can participate by voting for Listener’s Choice Awards. The song of the year was won by ‘Gerua’ from Dilwale and the award for album of the year was taken home by ‘Bajirao Mastani’.

Royal Stag Mirchi Music Awards Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Rajesh Roshan. He shared the stage with his brother Rakesh Roshan and nephew Hrithik, where latter sang his famous number ‘Tere Jaisa Yaar Kahan’. "I am my chacha's biggest fan and feel fortunate that the background score of my childhood is his music”.

The other stars that lightened the awards night were Arjun Kapoor, Aditi Rao Hydari, Surveen Chawla, Dia Mirza and many others. The Male Vocalist was give to Papon for ‘Moh Moh Ke Dhaage’ and Female Vocalist to Shreya Ghoshal for ‘Mohe Rang Do Laal’. Pritam Chakraborty was declared Best Music Composer for Gerua and Lyricist to Varun Grover in ‘Moh Moh Ke Dhaage’.
