SRK-Imtiaz Project Will Have Cameo By Ranbir Kapoor?

Imtiaz Ali’s next project will star Shah Rukh Khan in the leading role. There are also talks of Band Baaja Baaraat actress Anushka Sharma for the female lead. Now, rumours surrounding the project have stated that Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor Ranbir Kapoor will be present in the film for a cameo role.

According to a source, “The story needs a young actor to play Anushka’s boyfriend in the film. It’s a small appearance and Imtiaz has already spoke to Ranbir Kapoor to do it and he’s agreed”. Some other speculations around the project suggested that Shah Rukh will be playing a Sardar in the film. These talks were rubbished by SRK himself. He stated, “Imtiaz will come and tell me whenever he’s ready to shoot and we will start. But yes, I’m not playing a Sardar in the film neither is it a comedy”.

Imtiaz was last seen in the director’s chair for Tamasha which also starred Ranbir Kapoor. The movie failed to achieve the recognition that the team expected. Ranbir is currently busy with ‘Jagga Jasoos’ which has seen quite a few hurdles in its schedule.
