Despite TV star Kapil Sharma’s public apology, reports claim that comedian Sunil Grover has decided to quit their ongoing TV show. Meanwhile, reports on Wednesday suggested that co-actors Chandan Prabhakar and Ali Asgar have also boycotted the show’s shoot for two days in a row now.

A Spotboye report said that Chandan and Ali did not show up for the shoot on Monday and Tuesday. Sunil has been missing from the scene too. “The lights are certainly dimming. We made SOS calls to Sunil Pal, Raju Shrivastav and Ahsaan Qureshi after the (infamous) flight-fight to raise a laugh, and thankfully they agreed,” it quoted a source as saying. The three comedians will only appear in one episode that will be shot on Wednesday evening.

The team of Taapsee Pannu’s Naam Shabana was on the sets. Chandan told the tabloid, ““Yes, I am not shooting with Kapil today. They called me but I refused. I told them that I am unavailable.”

The only comedians to be found around Kapil on the sets were Kiku Sharda aka Palak and Rochelle Rao (who plays the nurse).

Kapil and Sunil, reportedly, had a fight as they were flying back with their team to Mumbai from Australia, after a show. Apparently, the former got drunk, belittled Sunil and also physically assaulted him. Kapil took to Twitter to apologise but Sunil is yet to accept the apology.

Meanwhile, Kapil’s professional rival Krushna Abhishek has extended support to him saying that friends often fight and there is nothing unusual about it. It is interesting to note that Krushna, who is currently hosting Comedy Nights Bachao (a show that replaced Kapil’s Comedy Nights) had expressed interest in working with Kapil again.
