    Sushant Will Play A Boxer In His Next Sports Biopic

    Following the news of Sushant Singh Rajput’s next sports biopic, some new details about the project have surfaced. Reportedly, the actor will essay the role of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympics gold medallist. Sushant will travel to Bhiwani, Haryana, to learn boxing.

    The actor will undergo training at Bhiwani Boxing Club where Vijender Singh, Hawa Singh and Akhil Kumar have trained. According to a source, “Sushant will be seen boxing in a few sequences in the film. Hence, he has decided to be professionally trained, so that he doesn’t look uncomfortable while shooting for the scenes. He has already started working on his dates so that he can travel to Bhiwani”.

    The Shuddh Desi Romance actor also spoke about the project and shared, “This is a character whose life story is so compelling that it will inspire many others. Though the main preparations for the role will start next year, I have some time in July, so I want to utilise it”. This year, Sushant will be seen in Dhoni’s jersey as he portrays the cricketer in ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ which will be released on September 2.
