Swara Bhaskar Talks About Her upcoming Film ‘Nil Battey Sannata’

Swara Bhaskar is one of the few actresses of Bollywood that are roped in by a director to deliver strong performances rather than adding glamour quotient. The actress has given so many memorable performances in the past and will continue to stun the audiences with her acting skills. She will now be seen in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s ‘Nil Battey Sannata’.

The Tanu Weds Manu Returns actress will be seen playing a mother of a 15 year-old in the flick. She was initially reluctant to portray the character but later took the challenge. She said, "I am used to doing dangerous things. When I was offered the film, I read the script with the intention to refuse it. But later on, I realised that it’s such a wonderful script and felt that as an actor it's a very challenging role for me".

The story of the flick will portray how a financially weak mother convinces her rebellious daughter to study. The film will also feature Ratna Pathak and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles. It will hit the theater screens on April 22 along with its Tamil remake ‘Amma Kanakku’.
