Tamasha’s Trailer Out! It’s Completely Deja Vu

From the time when it was announced that ex-couple Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are doing a film together, the audiences were excited to watch their chemistry in Tamasha. The first trailer of Imtiaz Ali directorial was released yesterday and it’s Deja Vu from several other films, including Imtiaz Ali’s earlier films; having the same zeal, adventure and vibe.

The trailer starts with a shot of Ranbir Kapoor where the Roy actor is looking quite close to SRK from My Name is Khan. Quite soon after that, enters Deepika Padukone, reminding the magic of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. Later in a scene both the stars dance similar to how they danced in Balam Pichkari. There are scenes that reminds of the adventures of Anjaana Anjaani, like the car ride and exotic locations. In one of the scenes thereafter, Deepika seems to be drunk, like she has been in Cocktail opposite Saif Ali Khan. Soon, when the things seemed alright, there is a twist in the tale. From fun and adventures, the story of the flick takes an emotional turn, where Deepika seems close to her Love Aaj Kal avatar, which was emotional yet sassy. The Bombay Velvet star seems to be in his Rockstar form.

The story of the flick revolves around an engineer played by Ranbir Kapoor, who is doing everything that is expected off him and yet is unhappy with his life. He comes across Tara, played by Deepika Padukone, who becomes his partner in crime, and travels the world along with him. If they fall in love with each other or not remains a mystery to be solved only when the film releases on November 27.
