Anushka Sharma Is Skipping IIFA Awards And It Isn't Because Of Virat Kohli!

Ever since the picture of Anushka Sharma hanging out with beau Virat Kohli circulated on the internet, we assumed that the couple is in the New York City for their break. Even Virat posted a picture with his ladylove and captioned it "Much needed break with my love". Other Bollywood celebrities are also in the city for the ongoing IIFA Awards. While it was earlier reported that the actress would ditch the starry awards night for her cricketer boyfriend, the latest in the front is that she is there neither for IIFA nor for Virat but for work.

Gossip mills are churning out rumours that the actress is in town to shoot for her part of the Rajkumar Hirani’s Dutt biopic. As per a source, “Anushka is in US for Hirani’s Dutt biopic. She will be filming her scenes in the movie alongside Ranbir, who will join her on the sets soon”. Dutt’s biopic will showcase Sanjay Dutt’s life and is entirely based on his life.

Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, the flick will be bankrolled by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The flick stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. Other stars like Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Karishma Tanna, Jim Sarbh and Vicky Kaushal are also playing a pivotal role in the flick.
