This Is Why Shahid Kapoor Threatens to Quit Padmavati!

Padmavati has been the headlines of many entertainment tabloids, ever since Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced about the project. Earlier, it was expected that the Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor starrer historical flick will hit the screens in 2017. But, the latest reports are suggesting that the cameras won’t roll until early next year. This means, the film’s release would get pushed to summer 2018.

While cinema lovers are still wishing that the reports turn untrue, it seems like another bad news is coming their way. It is being heard that Shahid has allegedly threatened to quit Padmavati owing to some tussle between him and co-star Ranveer. According to a SpotBoye report, the Bajirao Mastani actor doesn’t want the Udta Punjab star to be featured in the inaugural poster of the film. Apparently, this has not gone down well with Shahid leading him to walk out of Padmavati.

Reportedly, the budget of the film has already reached around Rs. 150 crore. And this ruckus involving the casting of the film is upsetting Bhansali, who wants to get Padmavati on the floors as soon as possible. Well, with such threats by stars, it seems like the film could possibly get delayed. Desimartini wishes that everything is sorted out soon and people could get to watch another masterpiece by the National Award winning director.
