This Superstar Replaces Shah Rukh Khan As Malaysian Tourism Ambassador?

Rajnikanth and Shah Rukh Khan can be called as the pillars of Kollywood and Bollywood cinema industry. Both the entertainers enjoy a massive fan following not just in their home country but in abroad. Rajnikanth is treated as God down the South, whereas, SRK is not just an actor for his fans.

As per a report by Deccan Chronicle, superstar Rajinikanth has replaced the Dilwale actor to become the ambassador of Malaysian Tourism. Reportedly, the Minister of Tourism and Culture of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz has suggested Rajinikanth’s name for it and it is on the point of getting approved by the Malaysian parliament.

The recent development can be related to the point that Rajinikanth’s last film Kabali was about Malaysian Tamils and was a huge hit. Major portion of the film was shot in Malaysia. On a related note, SRK was on the post for almost ten years.
