Udhayanidhi to don khaki for the first time in PS Mithran's next

If all goes as planned, producer-turned-actor Udhayanidhi Stalin will soon essay the role of a police officer in his next project, which is likely to be directed by PS Mithran. Mithran is currently busy with his debut directorial Irumbu Thirai, which stars Vishal and Samantha Prabhu in the lead roles and action king Arjun playing the villain.

The first level of talks were successfully held between Mithran and Udhay and the former is working on fine-tuning the script to suit the image of Udhayanidhi now. If the project gets confirmed, it will be the first time Udhay will get to don the khaki .

Since Vishal is busy running from pillar to post regarding the promotional campaign for the upcoming elections to the Tamil Film Producer’s Council, PS Mithran has taken a short break from shooting and is focusing on making minor adjustments to the Udhayanidhi script.

Udhay is currently busy with three projects including director Gaurav Narayanan’s Ippadai Vellum where he shares the screen with Manjima Mohan, director Ezhil’s ‘Saravanan Iruka Bayamaen’ where he co-stars with Regina Cassandra and debutant director Thalapathy Prabhu’s ‘Podhuvaga En Manasu Thangam’ where he will be seen romancing Nivetha Pethuraj.
