Varun Dhawan To Lend His Voice To A Superhero

Varun Dhawan is set to become the voice of an international superhero — Captain America. The Bollywood actor will dub for the character played by Hollywood star Chris Evans in the Hindi dubbed version of an upcoming film.

“I was excited when the studio that made this film approached me for this. Captain America is a mature and balanced character, and I am not. So, that made the process even more challenging for me. It’s a big film, and the action is huge. The moral of the story is what I loved too,” says Varun, adding, “I was also blown away by its trailer, and that got me interested.”

Varun adds that he was tempted to take up this project also because “the film has an amazing connect with kids”. Apparently, Varun’s fan following among youngsters is what made him the obvious choice for this project. “Varun has the X factor, and the versatility. We are delighted that he is equally excited about the movie,” says Amrita Pandey, the India spokesperson of the studio.
