Velaikkaran: Makers release second poster on Fahadh Faasil’s birthday

The Sivakarthikeyan - Mohan Raja film Velaikkaran is one of the anticipated Dussehra releases. The film will lock horns with Mahesh Babu’s Spyder, and the box-office battle is going to be very interesting. The first poster of the film was released not long ago. Amid speculations that the poster was a blatant copy of the Michael Douglas starrer Falling Down, the makers on Tuesday unveiled a new poster on the occasion of actor Fahadh Faasil’s birthday.

In the film, which marks his Tamil debut, Fahadh is said to be playing the antagonist and he will be seen flexing out with Sivakarthikeyan. In the second poster, we can see mugshot of Sivakarthikeyan and Fahadh whose combination is something to look forward to on the screen. The film also stars Nayanthara, who is teaming up with Siva for the first time and their combination is sure to garner a lot of attention. Velaikkaran also stars Sneha and Prakash Raj in crucial roles.

Another highlight of the film is director Mohan Raja, who made heads turn with the critically-acclaimed and commercially successful Thani Oruvan. Velaikkaran will be next release after Thani Oruvan, and both fans and critics are hopeful that he will impress again.
