Vidya Balan, Nandita Das back with their traditional looks at the Cannes’ closing ceremony

Indian ethnic wears were the most sought after attires at Cannes 2013. To carry on with their looks representing Indian culture, Bollywood actresses Vidya Balan and Nandita Das chose to wear traditional outfits at the closing ceremony of Cannes Film Festival 2013.

The honourable jury members, Cristian Mungiu, Vidya Balan, Nicole Kidman, Christoph Waltz, Steven Spielberg and Daniel Auteui were present at the Palme D'Or Winners’ dinner at Agora. Nandita Das, the jury member for short film attended the special dinner along with her husband Subodh Maskara.

Vidya remained loyal to Sabyasachi Mukherjee creations as she was clad in a floor-length anarkali with a matching sequin dupatta by the same designer at the closing ceremony. In accessories, Vidya kept it simple with gold earrings. Vidya also attended Zulu premiere with her team members Kidman and Auteui. The premiere show was also attended by Cinefondation members and short film jury director Maji-da Abdi, actress Nicoletta Braschi, director and jury president Jane Campion and Nandita Das. Nandita was looking elegant in a mustard silk saree at the closing night.
