VIP 2: Dhanush in awe of Kajol’s infectious energy

Basking in the success of his directorial debut Power Paandi, Dhanush is gearing up for the release of VIP 2 next. Directed by his sister-in-law Soundarya Rajinikanth, the film marks the comeback of Kajol to Tamil filmdom after a decade.

In his recent interview to Times of India, talking about the experience of working with Kajol, Dhanush said he was in awe of her infectious energy. “Kajol ma’am is full of energy. Her energy is so infectious that it motivated people to work with the same enthusiasm. She is a very friendly and warm person. We had a great time working with her.” He also said the second part will have its own surprises. “The sequel will be as exciting as VIP. But you can’t compare both these films. It has its own elements and I am sure it will be as successful as part one.”

Also starring Amala Paul, VIP 2 is likely to hit the screens in July. Kajol is rumoured to be playing a suave businesswoman in the film and she plays a character with grey shades.
