Vir Das Calls Boman Irani An Elder Brother

Actor-comedian Vir Das will soon be seen sharing screen space with Jolly LLB actor Boman Irani in ‘Santa Banta Pvt Ltd’. Vir revealed that he had met Boman on several occasions and the duo bonded quite well during the film. Vir stated, “Boman and I have been meeting for years while doing shows”.

He added, “We always told each other we have to do something together. We thought it would be a live show; we never thought we will be working on a film together”. The Go Goa Gone actor praised his co-star and stated, “He is from theatre and so am I, we both like doing homework on our films. Boman has a filmography of a great artiste; there is lots to learn from Boman. We really had good time doing the film. In the film, he is like an elder brother and that’s true in real life as well”.

‘Santa Banta Pvt Ltd’ has been directed by Akashdeep Sabir and stars Neha Dhupia and Lisa Haydon, along with the duo. The movie, produced by Sheeba Akashdeep, will be released on April 22. Vir was last seen on the silver screen in ‘31st October’ while Boman’s last release was ‘Dilwale’.
