Welcome’s sequel to have Amitabh Bachchan for Feroz Khan’s role?

Welcome Back, a sequel of 2007 hit comedy Welcome is deciding on its cast and according to the recent developments, superstar Amitabh Bachchan was approached to revive late actor Feroz Khan’s RDX role in Welcome Back. Film director Anees Bazmee talked to media about this buzz, "We have not locked Amitabh Bachchan for Feroz bhai's role. It was a small role but his (Feroz) presence made the role larger. But this role is big and different in the sequel."

Anees further extended his comments, "Every actor plays an important character in this film. All the characters are important in the film, if one is not there then the film will be incomplete. All the characters are well defined." Film’s producer Firoz Nadiadwala also stated the same that they are in talks with Big B and an approval is still awaited. Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and Paresh Rawal will revive their characters while John Abraham and Shruti Haasan are the new additions to the sequel.

Nana expressed his excitement with remark, "I am happy to be back working with the team again. I hope people like this film as well." Anil Kapoor’s excitement level too was noted high, "It is great to be working with Nana... he is always inspirational. John is a talented actor and so is Paresh." Anil also praised Kamal Haasan saying that he is a magnificent actor and he is happy to have got an opportunity to work with his daughter Shruti Haasan. The movie is likely to roll next month.
