What? Nawazuddin Siddiqui Sues Filmfare For Defamation

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of the finest actors that we have in the generation. The actor is the perfect example of rags to riches. His hard work and determination paved his ways for success. However, the actor is currently grabbing headlines more due to personal reasons.

From quite some time, rumours were rife that the actor’s marital life is not going well and reportedly the two have called it quits. However, Siddiqui came out in open and said, “It is convenient to put out such nasty rumours about me because I don’t read or refute anything written about me. More importantly, I fit into the mould of the small-town guy who makes it big in Mumbai, loses his head and has flings while his wife sobs in the kitchen”.

Now, latest in the front is that the actor is suing Filmfare for posting his picture with another woman in one of the articles dated March 8, 2017.  The article went with the headline “Nawazuddin Siddiqui and wife Anjali have apparently called it quits”. In the legal notice sent to the magazine, the Haramkhor actor said that that such a baseless article has caused "unwarranted and uncalled for mental torture, trauma and inconvenience" to him.

The notice has been issued for an apology from Filmfare and a clarification article within a week.
