Yash Raj Film’s Next Starring Rani Mukerji To Launch In August

Yash Raj Films have manifold projects in their pipeline. Recently, we learnt that their untitled project starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra will take off in August. Now we hear that they are gearing up for another project which will also be launched in August. Looks like, August is going to be a busy month for Yash Raj Films.

Well, taking about this project, Rani Mukerji has been in roped in and Siddharth P Malhotra will helm this project. As per Box Office India reports, the film has been tentatively titled as ‘Hichki’ and the plot of the film revolves around social issues. Earlier, rumours were rife that Mukerji will star in 2014’s ‘Mardaani’ sequel, but now it looks like, the sequel has been shelved for now.  

However, Rani Mukerji will make a comeback to the big screen after two years maternity gap.  Fans must be on cloud nine right now. Mukerji's last film Mardaani, where she essayed the role of an audacious cop, won numerous accolades for the film.
