    Alien: Covenant Will Have Michael Fassbender Playing Two Robots

    Ridley Scott is working on the sequel to the hit 2012 film ‘Prometheus’ titled ‘Alien: Covenant’. Michael Fassbender, who played an android named David in the original, will be returning to the sequel as well but, there is a twist. This time, he won’t just be playing David but another android as well.

    Fassbender’s other character will be named Walter. Recently, the actor spoke to The Irish Times and revealed the news. While he could not shine light on the details, he shared, “I am allowed to say I am playing two robots”. Praising director Scott, the Steve Jobs actor stated, “I think what’s great about it is that [director] Ridley [Scott] has gone back to the original DNA of Alien, the horror element of that. But is also has the scope and the scale of Prometheus”.

    The 39-year-old said that Scott is an incredible human being and “an imaginative and mischievous figure”. ‘Prometheus’, which was also directed by Scott, did very well at the box office and amassed $403 million worldwide. The sequel, ‘Alien: Covenant’, will hit the screens on August 4 next year.
