Amanda Seyfried boards Peter Pan adaptation

Warner Bros. Entertainment’s forthcoming flick, an adaptation of Peter Pan tale, has finally completed the cast and its latest addition is actress, singer and model Amanda Seyfried. The actress is signed to essay the character of Mary in Joe Wright’s directorial.

The movie surrounds an orphan boy Peter Pan, who is transported to a magical land Neverland. The tale is about the adventure and menace he faces in this new world. Les Miserables star Hugh Jackman is portraying Blackbeard in the movie, while Garrett Hedlund, Rooney Mara and Adeel Akhtar will star as Hook, Tiger Lily and Smee, respectively. Peter Pan’s character is given to a newcomer Levi Miller.
More stars, who will be an important part of this project are Jack Charles, Tae-joo Na, Nonso Anozie, Kathy Burke, Kurt Egyiawan and few more. The shooting of the same is to go on floors on April 28. The script of the venture is drafted by J.M. Barrie and the screenplay is given by Jason Fuchs. Greg Berlanti and Paul Webster are financing the venture with Tim Lewis attached as executive producer.
