Amber Heard Donated Her Divorce Settlement Amount?

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s divorce is a never ending story. The actress was entitled to receive $7 million in her divorce settlement with Johnny Depp. She revealed in August that she would equally donate this amount to two organisations namely, Children’s Hospital and the ACLU domestic violence unit.

In one place, where Amber has paid $350,000 to domestic violence unit, her payment to Children’s Hospital is due. Reportedly, Depp had said that he would pay the hospital directly in instalments. However, it was discovered by TMZ.com that after the initial amount, the Children’s Hospital didn’t receive any more money.

The actress’ lawyer told TMZ in a statement, “The settlement documents are being finalized and will be signed this week,” further adding, “Johnny is obligated by the settlement to pay Amber, and she in turn will honour her pledges to Children’s Hospital and the ACLU.” A source close to Heard told the website, “She had taken steps to pay the Children’s hospital immediately, but didn’t send it because she and Johnny began fighting about the settlement money.”
