Angel Has Fallen Will Be Directed By Ric Roman Waugh

The sequel to ‘Olympus Has Fallen’ is currently being developed and the studio has roped in Ric Roman Waugh to direct the project. The movie has been titled ‘Angel Has Fallen’ and will bring back Gerard Butler as agent Mike Banning, along with Morgan Freeman as Speaker Trumbull. The movie will be produced by Alan Siegel and Butler, along with Danielle Robinson, John Thompson, Les Weldon and Matt O Toole.

‘Angel has Fallen’ will be the third instalment in the series that started with the 2013 flick ‘Olympus has Fallen’. The original was quite successful at the box office grossing $170.3 million. The sequel, ‘London has Fallen’ was released last year and brought in $205.8 million worldwide.

Ric’s last directorial was ‘Shot Caller’ which released in the US in June. He is known from his films ‘Snitch’, ‘Felon’ and ‘In the Shadows’. ‘Angel Has Fallen’ does not have a release date as of yet.
