Anticipated R Rating For Wolverine 3

A Reddit post has shown that the third and final Wolverine movie is anticipating an R rating. The success of Deadpool seems to have started a trend. The movie will be directed by James Mangold and will be released by 20th Century Fox.

The image shows a theatrical release date of March 3, 2017 and a home entertainment release date of summer 2017. Hugh Jackman is set to reprise his role as the clawed mutant for the last time. He has portrayed the character in eighth films over a course of 16 years, excluding next year’s instalment.

Wolverine 3 will also feature Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier who stated that he will be “making more than an appearance”. The script for the film has been written by David James Kelly. The R rating suggests that this Wolverine film will be more brutal than the others. Just what the fans ordered.
