    Assassin’s Creed to Feature Michael K. Williams

    Michael K. Williams will be starring in the upcoming cinematic adaptation of the video game ‘Assassin’s Creed’, with the same title, according to Variety. Michael is known for his role in ‘Broadwalk Empire’ and the 2014 film ‘Robocop’. The Assassin’s Creed movie will be developed by 20th Century Fox and New Regency.

    The first instalment in the game franchise by Ubisoft, revolved around Desmond Miles, who was a descendant of an ancestral line of assassins. He was held captive by an organisation which used his memories to collect valuable information about the assassins. Michaels character has not been confirmed as of yet.

    Michael will also be a part of the cast for ‘Gostbusters’, which is being directed by Paul Feig. The video game adaptation (Assassin’s Creed) will also star Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard and Ariane Labed. It will be directed by Justin Kurrzel. The movie is set for a release date of December 21, 2016.
