Assassin's Creed Movie Gets New Photo

The upcoming Michael Fassbender starrer Assassin's Creed has got a new image released by Ubisoft. The actor will play the role of Callum Lynch who is a descendent of the 15th century Spanish assassins. The movie will be released on December 21.

The movie will be the cinematic adaptation of the popular Assassin's Creed game franchise, albeit, it will follow new characters. A new technology enables people to relive their ancestral memories. Callum relives the memories of his ancestor Aguilar, an assassin. Callum finds out that he is descended from a mysterious secret society called the Assassins.

The image shows Callum sitting on the floor of what seems to be a jail cell. If the game franchise is followed, Callum will be forced to use the device. Directed by Justin Kurzel, Assassin's Creed will star Michael K. Williams, Brendan Gleeson, Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons. The movie has been produced by Jean-Julien Baronnet, Patrick Crowley, Frank Marshall, Conor McCaughan, Arnon Milchan and Fassbender.
