Batman: The Killing Joke Trailer Released

The cinematic adaptation of Alan Moore and Brian Bolland’s graphic novel Batman: The Killing Joke, has got a new trailer. The animated movie has been rated R and will tell a version of the origin story of Joker. The character of Batman will be voiced by Kevin Conroy while The Joker will be voiced by Mark Hamill.

The trailer shows Batman entering Arkham to have a word with Joker. Following the comic, the storyline takes a drastic turn and shows the Joker causing mayhem in the city and kidnapping Commissioner Gordon. Batman: The Killing Joke is one of the best comic book stories of all time and the movie will bring all that awesomeness to Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD.

The movie is developed by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment and will be released later this year. Bruce Timm has executive produced the project. The R rating means the movie will stick to the graphic novels violent, controversial story.
