    Being Father Gave Orlando Bloom ASense Of Responsibility

    Popular British actor and heartthrob Orlando Bloom is best known for essaying the role of elf warrior Legolas Greenleaf in Peter Jackson’s epic film trilogy ‘The Lord of the Rings’. Father to a 5-year-old son Flynn Christopher Bloom with former spouse Miranda Kerr, the Digging for Fire actor recently revealed that becoming a parent has made him more responsible. Bloom and Kerr were divorced by the end of 2013.

    Bloom said that fatherhood has increased his level of compassion. “Being a father, you know, you kind of have a new sense of responsibility. (My) level of compassion has grown”, the 39-year-old actor told during a chat session with Entertainment Tonight at UNICEF's 70th anniversary event in NYC. At present, the Hollywood hunk is dating singing sensation Katy Perry.

    Sharing his admiration for Katy Perry, Bloom said, “She's amazing, you know, I'm super proud of the work that she does. She's a voice that speaks to so many and it's remarkable to see her champion this cause, [and] it's amazing that we happen to do this together”. Lovebirds Bloom and Perry have reportedly been together since March 2016. Back in august, a source had revealed, “He (Bloom) would love to settle down with Katy and have more kids”. Apparently, Bloom is quite fond of children.
