    Ben Affleck Will Be Batman Once Again

    Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that Ben Affleck will be directing a stand-alone Batman movie. Affleck, along with Geoff Johns, will be writing the flick. The news was first reported by Deadline and so far, Warner Bros. has not made a comment on the issue.

    Affleck will be playing batman in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie which is directed by Zack Snyder. The plot of the Ben Affleck directorial will be set after the events of ‘Batman v Superman’ and the 2017 film, ‘Justice League’. The Daredevil star is succeeding Christian Bale, who played Batman in Christopher Nolan’s trilogy. In November, Affleck might start shooting for his directorial film, ‘Live By Night’, which will be a cinematic adaptation of Dennis Lehane’s novel.

    San Diego Comic Con’s Warner Bros. panel will see Ben Affleck and director Zack Snyder on stage, along with other cast members of Batman v Superman. The event will take place on Saturday. Dawn of Justice will release on March 25, 2016.
