    Brad Pitt, Warner Bros Collaborate To Adapt YA Sci-Fi Novel ‘Illuminae’

    In just first week of the release of novel by award-winning authors Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff, Illuminae, had made its way to the New York Times Young Adult Hardcover bestseller and was highly praised by the audiences when it released in October this year and now Brad Pitt along with Warner Bros. is planning to adapt the YA sci-fi for the big screen. Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment, along with its partners Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner will co-produce the film, reportedly. Sarah Esberg will don the hat of execute producer.

    The story revolves around a teenage hacker, who along with her pilot ex-boyfriend is struggling with their broken relationship. Amid all the problems, the couple uncovers a conspiracy relating to an intergalactic war. This all leads them to deal with enemy race, rogue artificial intelligence as well as a deadly virus.

    The scriptwriter of the flick hasn’t been finalised as yet. The makers of the film are in search for the writers.  Jesse Ehrman and Julia Spiro are supervising the project for the studio.
