Reports have stated that Brad Pitt has opted out of the promotion for his upcoming film ‘Allied’. The actor shares screen space with Marion Cotillard who, according to a lot of speculations, was the reason for his split with Angeline Jolie. The 52-year-old has apparently said no to any interviews or chat shows for the promotion of the film.

According to a source, “This was supposed to be the start of a big campaign push for Brad to finally win an acting Oscar but there's too much controversy for him to risk any publicity. It also doesn't help that there were rumours he had an affair with his co-star Marion Cotillard, which both deny”. The source added that Brad might not even walk the red carpet. The best tactic for him is to lay low.

Brad and Angelina are currently in a legal battle for the custody of their six children. The actress has requested full physical custody of all the kids while Brad has asked for shared guardianship. Angelina filed for divorce on September 15.

‘Allied’ has been directed by Robert Zemeckis and will be released on November 23.
