Charlize Theron's First Look For Fast 8 Revealed

Since the announcement of Charlize Theron playing the main villain in the next instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise, fans have been eagerly waiting to get a look at her character. Now, Universal Pictures has released the first look of the actress in the film. It was also revealed that her character is named Cipher.

The image shows the Mad Max actress wearing a Metallica T-shirt, entering a gun store. Vin Diesel, who plays the lead character in the franchise, spoke about Charlize’s Cipher and stated, “Cipher, her character, is forcing Dom in to a place we have not seen. I first imagined her joining our saga back in 2012 when we were filming 'Fast 6' in London, but life has a way of dictating when your vision is manifested and this chapter proves to be the perfect time. What is surreal is that our kids have play dates while we are on set doing some of the most emotionally arduous scenes in the franchise”.

‘Fast 8’ is being directed by F Gary Gray and will be shot in a few never before ventured locations including Cuba. Universal had also previously announced that the film will be the first of a final trilogy, ‘Fast 8’ will be released on April 14 next year.
