Christian Bale Out Of Ferrari Biopic

Batman has left the building. According to Variety, Christian Bale has left the Ferrari biopic due to health concerns. The actor was supposed to put on weight to play the role of Enzo Ferrari but could not gain as much as required in the time frame. The filmmakers are looking for a replacement.

The production of the film will commence later this spring and the director Michael Mann will have to work quickly to find someone to play the role. The movie will tell the story of Enzo Ferrari and his journey to top of the chain. It will be set in 1957 with the script written by Troy Kennedy-Martin.

The movie will be based on the book titled Enzo Ferrari, The Man, The Cars, The Races, from author Brock Yates. Christian Bale was attached with the Ferrari project since August of last year. The actor was recently seen in Adam McKay’s The Big Short and also received an Oscar nomination for his role in the film.
