    Clint Eastwood’s Next Will Be Based On Jessica Buchanan

    Following the success of his recently released film ‘Sully’, director Clint Eastwood is gearing up for his next. The Hollywood Reporter has stated that the movie will be based on the kidnapping of Jessica Buchanan. Jessica was an aid worker who was kidnapped in Somalia in October of 2011.

    The movie will be based on the book titled Impossible Odds, which was written by Jessica, with the help of her husband Erik Landemalm and author Anthony Flacco. Eastwood will be teaming up with Warner Bros. for the project. Greg Silverman and Julia Spiro, from the studio, will be overseeing the film.

    The script for the Jessica Buchanan kidnapping film will be written by Brian Helgeland. Eastwood’s recent film ‘Sully’ starred Tom Hanks in the lead role. It told the story of US Airways Flight 1549 which landed in the Hudson River soon after take-off. The movie has pooled in $152 million since its release.
