The 41-year-old said, “I tried to read the script and I didn’t understand the words of the dialogue or anything, and I said 'I couldn’t do this. I think you’re really talented but I couldn’t do this.” Eventually the role went to Chris Hemsworth and Mark appreciated the work done by Chris. The actor told it went to the best person and if he would have played that role then it could have been really difficult for the audience to understand his character, which seems obvious as he too did not understand his role in the film.
