Connie Britton enters American Ultra’s star cast replacing Sharon Stone
A last-minute casting change has been recorded in Lionsgate's action-comedy American Ultra as Connie Britton has been roped in to replace Sharon Stone. Earlier Stone made an exit from the project due to some scheduling issues.
The Nima Nourizadeh-directed film stars Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart in the lead. The script for the film has been written by Max Landis. Eisenberg will be seen as Mike who is a sad personality leading an average life with his live-in girlfriend, Phoebe (Stewart). Suddenly Mike’s small-town life turns topsy-turvy as without his knowledge he becomes a part of a government program created by Victoria Lasseter (Britton). Presently the film, which has a strong supporting cast comprising Topher Grace, Tony Hale, John Leguizamo, Bill Pullman and Walton Goggins, is undergoing production.
