    Daniel Craig aka James Bond underwent knee surgery over the weekend and is expected to resume filming for the newest instalment of Ian Fleming’s James Bond series called Spectre on April 22. The actor reportedly injured his knee on the set of Spectre while filming for fighting sequence.

    The makers of the newest Bond flick told the press that the 47-year-old actor underwent a minor procedure on his knee. “During a scheduled break, Daniel Craig had arthroscopic surgery to repair his knee injury. He will rejoin production on April 22 at Pinewood,” a spokeswoman told BBC News.

    The movie being helmed by director Sam Mendes also stars Christoph Waltz, Dave Bautista and Ralph Fiennes.
