Dwayne Johnson Received Fan Letter from Steven Spielberg

43-year-old wrestler turned actor Dwayne Johnson recently received fan mail from renowned director Steven Spielberg. The actor “grinned like a kid” when he got the letter. Being a fan of Steven Spielberg, the San Andreas star was ecstatic, as he idolised the director for his work.

In the letter, Steven wrote, “Been enjoying your movies over the years. Very entertaining. I feel like I've really gotten to know you over the years, most recently after watching you host Saturday Night Live. Great job. You continue to go for it. Proud of your work and look forward to meeting you.” The Rock said it was a defining moment for him as an actor. It took me back to being just like a kid. I was so blown away” he said.

Dwayne added, “Just receiving this personal letter from him and its not only made me incredibly humbled and grateful, but it's also brought me back to being that 8-year-old boy again who not only loves movies, but I now get to make the movies I love and enjoy the impact they have on others”. Reading the letter, he remembered watching Indiana Jones on its first weekend. Dwayne was inspired and felt motivated by what Steven Spielberg wrote.
