The upcoming Harry Potter spin-off ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find’ stars Eddie Redmayne as the lead character Newt Scamander. The actor is a huge fan of the Harry Potter wizarding world and was quite ecstatic when he was roped in to play the part. Recently, the actor spoke about shooting for the film and revealed that there was a lot of pressure on him as he is such a huge fan.

“Of course you feel pressure. Also, particularly because I loved the Potter films. There was something so warming about being able to dive back into that world every year or two. And if you’ve enjoyed something, you don’t want to be the one who comes in and screws it up”, Eddie shared.

He went on to say that there is pressure in every project he has taken up. Talking about ‘The Theory of Everything’, where he played Stephen Hawking, the actor revealed that knowing the Hawking family would see the film was the most pressurising part. In ‘The Danish Girl’, Eddie played the role of Lili Elbe who was one of the first identifiable recipients of sex reassignment surgery. Meeting the people from the trans community and portraying the character also asserted pressure on him.

'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' will hit the screens on November 18.
